- Customizable Lock Screen and Home Screen. Live tiles too.

- Enhanced Security Features. Device encryption, featurencrypt adios editions for managing encryption.
- Windows Photo App. Some photo editing features. Changes in how photos are gathered.
- SkyDrive Sync. Tighter integration.
- Exerience Index Rating. Adios.
- Microsoft Chat. Microsoft bought Skype. This is where they are headed.
- Backup & Image Recovery. You'll have to get a third party app such as Acronis, Novastor, etc.
- Facebook App. No built-in integration any more. Someone will make a replacement.
- Calendar Integration. No more support for Google calendar.
