Replacement to OneNote - using EverNote?

In my search to be OS-friendly in collaborating with heterogenous environments for electronic note taking, I came across an article by Zam Ideas and began exploring EverNote. Since I have used Microsoft OneNote heavily for 5+ years - I come with a lot of expectations. I will let you know how things go. MAC + PC = PRODUCTIVITY.
