MVC - http verb post used to access path (...) is not allowed

If you get this error it is likely because you have invalid or incorrect Routes specified (or not specified).

ERROR:
http verb post used to access path (...) is not allowed

Confirm that you have not misspelled any of your:
- routes, actions, controllers
- that your path is valid
- do not include any querystring data

Check your routes under:
- RouteConfig.cs
- Global.asax
