In order to use tools like PSEXEC you need to have ports 135 (TCP) and 445 (TCP) open. You also need to have the IPC$ and ADMIN$ shares enabled. You can test this by doing the following:
Open a command prompt.
Type: net use \\xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx\ipc$ /user:administrator "pass"
