Windows 7 RTM Experiences

I am quite happy at the ease-of-installation that Windows 7 has. Granted, I did the install on clean drives (not an upgrade) using the RTM edition available to MSDN users. The two separate instances where I have done the install have gone smoothly. The hardware is not the latest either...about 1.5 ears old. Still, no major problems.

My Install Experience

• Installed to a multi-boot system, on a secondary partition, above the 1024 cylinder - no problems on a Dell Precision 490 with Dual Processors (Dual Core Intel Xeon 3.20 GHz processors) with 4 GB Ram. Install took 15 minutes.
• Installed to a Dell M4300 Laptop with Core 2 Duo T7800 @ 2.60 GHz with 4 GB Ram. The install took 25 minutes.
