VMWare Add-In Causes Problems In Visual Studio

After experiencing some issues after upgrading my VMWare Workstations - some issues with Visual Studio appeared. The DevEnv.exe would hang at the splash screen, or just unexpected bomb-out with an exception.

After a little research the problem is with the VMWare Debugger Add-In. I uninstalled it by doing the following:

1. Close Visual Studio if it is running.
2. Go to Start > Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs
3. Click MODIFY
4. Go throught the installation screens until you can get to Custom setup and de-select the Visual Studio Plug-In.
5. Continue through the installation/uninstallation wizard.
