Although I know that some of the features in Internet Explorer are security related - some of them are just annoying. Such as when I have a "Trusted" website. Everything is fine as long as I go directly to the URL, such as
https: // something. However, if going from any other means (google, another link, etc.) then a "Security Warning" dialog appears asking me if I want to go into the Trusted Site. So,
since I think I am a power user - I get annoyed and say "Of course I do!" and I click Yes. Several times a day.
So, I found a way to disable it.
- Open Internet Explorer.
- Go to the menu Tools and select Internet Options
- Click on the Security Tab.
- Click on Trusted Sites.
- Click on Custom Level.
- Change the Websites in less privileged web content zone can navigate into this zone to be enabled.
- Click OK.
There are some security risks for this - possibly gathering information via spoofing an i-frame or whatever. I only go to sites that I deem important and trust anyway.
